SCHILD ESTATE SHIRAZ 2019, 75 CL

The wines from 2019 show much promise, however some late growing
season heat and rain episodes ensured that it was not without some anxious
moments for the winemakers along the way. A certain amount of nerve was
required, but mother nature came to the party in the end and mild perfect
condiƟons late in the season ensured we made it home really happy with the
vintage.

Colour: Dark ruby, with purple, black hues.

Bouquet: Open, aromaƟc red and dark berry fruit aromas combine
alongside subtle glimpses of dark chocolate and controlled oak spice.

Palate: The soŌ, deep red and black fruit notes seen together on the nose
also show in abundance on the palate where they are accompanied by a
fresh acid line and a super fine tannin frame. These ensure some real
balance to the wine and a drinkability and moorishness so oŌen found in
Barossa Shiraz
