SCHILD ESTATE UNWOODED CHARDONNAY 2018, 75 CL

A mild, and at Ɵmes cool December and January saw ideal condiƟons prevail
towards the end of the growing season in the region. The result was a meas-
ured pace of ripening which ensured the balanced development of sugar and
flavours in the fruit along with the retenƟon of natural grape acid. A parƟcu-
larly strong year for white wine.

Colour: Pale Straw. Soil Alluvial dark loam
Bouquet: Fragrant delicate floral notes, white peach, nectarines and stone fruit 
Palate: Round and juicy with a hint of creamy volume derived from lees stirring
and some tell tale varietal nttiness. Familiar notes of white peach, tropical
fruit and lemon citrus to finish are coupled with a fresh acid line and a clear
direction of travel and some real balance.
